Designing your engagement strategy according to each user’s behavior and preferences is one of the main features provided be Segmentino, referred to as Journeys. This feature lets you unify all your channels of communication by presenting a flexible, logic-based tool.
What is a Journey?
A Journey guides each user through the various stages of their engagement strategy by engaging them in the right moment, with the most relevant context, and through their preferred channel.
When a user interacts with your business through your app, website, or offline, they perform various actions as they navigate their way to achieving a specific goal. Depending on your business, these goals vary and could be anything like:
Purchasing electronic devices
Booking a concert ticket
Performing a card to card transaction
There are several factors that cause each user to experience your brand differently, like device preferences, expectations from your brand, and location. By the help of Journeys, you can create consistent brand experience across channels and platforms.
You can create and control your journey with three elements:
Trigger: A trigger is made when a user decides to take an action or not (e.g. opened an email). Some triggers have been mentioned in the following image.
Action: An action is something executed by Segmentino (e.g. send an email). Actions include changing attributes, interacting with different channels, and calling an API. Some actions have been mentioned in the following image.
Condition: A condition is set based on identified profile field values or submitted form data. Here is an example of defining a condition.
Create a New Journey
To create a new journey, go to journeys section and click on the New button at the top right of the page. After that, you can choose the name of your journey and give a description about it in the delineated fields. On the right side of the page, there is a vertical rectangular section that enables you to set the category and publishing status of your journey.
Launch a Campaign Builder
You can see a button on the top of the page called Launch a Campaign Builder. This button enables you to design the algorithm of your journey using triggers, conditions and actions.
